• The graduates in Social Communications & Journalism with a major in Social Development, has basic, generic and specific competences that will allow them to work, understand, interpret and produce oral, written, audiovisual and digital messages.

• The degree proposes actions that reinforce collective life with dignity and social justice. Assesses, analyzes and conceptualizes the elements and processes of communication.

• The graduates are able to apply information and communication technologies to the processes of investigation, production and dissemination of messages. Promoting and managing communication plans, programs and projects in social, public and private organizations to facilitate the participation of various actors in the processes of sociocultural change and sustainable human development.
